Fantastic quality for the price. I started off with the saute pan from this range and decided to replace all my old non stick Tefal pans with these. I was surprised to find a non stick coating on the inside of this wok since it is meant to be stainless steel. However, it’s more of an enamel coating which means the food moves around in the wok so easily you don’t need hardly any oil at all. A bonus is that this means it’s very easy to clean too.

Poor design – food sticks even when enough oil is used, the handle conducts heat and so gets really hot to the touch when cooking, the handle on the lid unscrews and has to be constantly tightened. The lid on our wok also shattered randomly while cooking once, which, upon reviewing other reviews, appears to be a common occurrence. I will be making a complaint as this item clearly isnt safe for cooking if the lid is prone to shattering.

In use the wok works fine. The handle warms but did not get too hot. One star rating because pre sales information not accurate. The picture on the wok appears to show a plain stainless steel surface. Ordered on the basis it had no coating as trying to buy product that had no forever chemicals. On buying could not see surface under wrapper, until got home when could see it had a non stick surface stating to be non PTFE but did not specific what the coating was made of. No mention of a coating on the online information-so we thought it would be completely uncoated.

I am surprised at all the negative reviews for this wok. I have had it for at least a couple of years and think it is great. The lid is very handy and I also use it to cover the 28cm frying pan I have. It does have a non stick coating. I don’t find any thing sticks when cooking and I use it on an induction hob. If using on an induction I have to keep an eye on the temperature, I get the wok to a high heat and turn down to medium or low-medium during cooking and turn up a bit more if needed but I find it doesn’t need to stay on a high heat the whole time as it will get too hot. I am still getting used to cooking on a induction hob but I haven’t had any problems with this wok. I use it to cook lots of different dishes not just stir fries as I like the wide diameter, it can hold a lot of liquid for more liquid type dishes. I prefer it to the dunelm essentials 28cm pot I have which is tall but narrow so food doesn’t cook evenly for me. I am very happy with the wok to be honest.

Very pleased with my new stainless steel wok. Initially when I opened it I was disappointed as I thought the whole wok was stainless steel, as I was trying to avoid any chemicals. But on reading the literature it is free from any chemicals.
